"Sachin: A Billion Dreams" is a biopic that gives a holistic view of Sachin Tendulkar's life, who is revered as "the God" of cricket by his fans.

Structurally, the film is designed as a documentary. While the film encapsulates the life of the master blaster right from his birth till date, it also gives an insight into the socio-economic situation of the country, making it feel like heavy-duty stuff.

This may not be the first documentary on Tendulkar, but probably it is the only one endorsed by him. So, you have him as the narrator sharing his personal moments along with his views and fears in a sincere and heartfelt manner.

How he got the name Sachin, how he met his wife, got married and how he spends his free moments, are a few of the interesting nuggets shared. विराट-अनुष्का नए साल पर कर सकते हैं सगाई!

उत्तराखंड में साथ छुट्टियां बिताते हुए दिखे विराट कोहली और अनुष्का शर्मा

अनुष्का शर्मा और विराट कोहली इन दिनों छुट्टियों के मूड में हैं। यह जोड़ा एक-दूसरे से बहुत प्यार करता है। कई इवेंट में साथ दिखाई देने वाला यह जोड़ा इन दिनों उत्तराखंड में छुट्टियां मना रहा है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार ऐ दिल है मुश्किल की एक्ट्रेस अनुष्का शर्मा नया साल अपने ब्वॉयफ्रेंड विराट कोहली के साथ उत्तराखंड में मनाना चाहती हैं। हाल ही में दोनों की एक फोटो सामने आई है। जिसे उनके एक फैन से इंस्टाग्राम पर शेयर किया है। इस फान पेज का नाम विरुश्खा लवर्स है।

फोटो में सिर से पैर तक ऊनी कपड़े पहने हुए अनुष्का शर्मा और विराट कोहली नजर आ रहे हैं। दोनों एक पंडित के साथ खड़े हुए दिख रहे हैं। यह फोटो इंटरनेट पर खूब वायरल हो रही है। दोनों फोटो में काफी क्यूट लग रहे हैं। बता दें कि सुल्तान फिल्म की एक्ट्रेस अनुष्का शर्मा इस बार अपने बॉय फ्रेंड विराट कोहली के साथ नया साल मनाने वाली हैं। इसमें भी सबसे खास बात यह है कि इस मौके पर अनुष्का का परिवार भी साथ रहने वाला है।

अनुष्का बेंगुलुरु में पली-बढ़ी हैं। लेकिन उनकी मां उत्तराखंड की रहने वाली हैं। अनुष्का ने स्कूल के लिए दिनों में अपनी गर्मियों की छुट्टियों का ज्यादा समय यहीं देहरादून में बिताया है। ऐसे में अनुष्का का इस जगह से खास लगाव है। अनुष्का के परिवार का एक घर यहां भी है। इसलिए इस नए साल के जश्न को खास बनाने के लिए अनुष्का अपनी पसंदीदा जगह आ गई हैं।

अनुष्का और विराट इस वीकएंड पर यहां पहुंचे। इसके बाद दोनों नरेंद्र नगर के लिए निकल गए। बता दें कि नरेंद्र नगर ऋषिकेश से कुछ घंटों की दूरी पर है। विराट कोहली फिलहाल 25 दिनों के ब्रेक पर हैं। शायद इसलिए वह बिना समय गवांए उनके साथ यहां पहुंच गए हैं। इसके साथ ही विराट उत्तराखंड के ब्रांड अंबेसडर भी हैं। इसी साल अप्रैल में ब्रांड अंबेसडर बनने के बाद विराट पहली बार यहां पहुंचे हैं। हो सकता है कि विराट की मां सरोज कोहली भी नए साल पर विराट और अनुष्का के पास पहुंचें। विराट और अनुष्का के यहां पहुंचने पर मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने भी दोनों का स्वागत किया। उन्होंने ट्विटर के जरिए उनके आने पर खुशी जाहिर की।

Javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia scripted history by becoming the first Indian to clinch two gold medals at the Paralympics after he broke his own world record to clinch the top honours at the ongoing Rio Games here.

The 36-year-old, who won his previous gold in the 2004 Athens Games, bettered his own world record to finish on top in the men's F46 event.

Devendra, whose previous best was 62.15 metres (achieved in the 2004 Games), improved the mark with an attempt of 63.97 metres at the Olympic Stadium (Engenhao).

Another Indian Rinku Hooda, who also competed in the event, finished fifth with a personal best of 54.39 metres in six attempts, while Sundar Singh Gurjar didn't start the event.

The Rajasthan born athlete had lost his left hand when he was electrocuted while climbing a tree as an eight-year-old. But he continued to follow his dream and went on to achieve the Arjuna award in 2004 and the Padma Shri in 2012, becoming the first Paralympian to receive the honour. (more)
